$100K Club Case Study
She out-earned her corporate salary in seven months. Then she broke ground on a new home.
Yulia Doroh built a remote firm from scratch, put her mother on payroll, fired her biggest client, and added $100,000 in 12 months.

2 salaries
Seven months after quitting her job, on a progress review: “I am finally paying myself a salary and my salary is now higher than my corporate job was.” The second salary went to her mother, her part-time partner. Same review, one breath later: “Construction on my new home has started officially.”
“Both of us are taking salaries at this point from our business and it’s the best feeling in the world.”

The Transformation
Before Dream Firms VS. After Dream Firms
Her words, from her weekly progress reviews.
The Firm
The remote firm that beat the local CPA. Twice.
Yulia’s firm was virtual before virtual was normal, with her mother as “my part-time partner.” The work is unglamorous and exacting: trust-account reconciliations for attorneys, books for IT companies and nonprofits, the kind of cleanup that gets a lawyer out of trouble with the ethics board. Prospects kept interviewing her against the established local firm. Her report, on landing her dream client: “the second time that I have beat out the local CPA firm.”
Small and remote is not a disadvantage. Invisible is.
In Her Own Words
“I’m Doing My Thing. But I’m Also Kind Of Living My Life.”
Forty-five seconds from a weekly progress review: two big contracts, two vacations in one month, and the realization that everything’s fine.
What would your firm look like if it paid you like an owner? Let’s find out.
Behind The Breakthrough
The Full Story

Before Dream Firms
Yulia started her firm on the side, “not really knowing accounting,” and worked it around a full-time job until the July she finally quit. On willpower alone she pushed it past six figures that first full year. Then she looked at how it actually ran: “I’ve gotten to the point of the stoplight system realizing that I have no systems.”
“It’s just kind of crazy to think that just a few months ago, I was financially struggling in every possible way, unhappy with my life.”

Six figures of revenue, and she still could not pay herself properly. Her biggest client, she would later say, “made my life a living hell.” Nights and weekends belonged to the firm. That is the version of firm ownership most accountants quietly accept. She did not.
The Three Moves
- 1
She fired the wrong client and went after the right ones
“He was my biggest client, but he made my life a living hell. And I finally basically said, you know what? No money in the world is good enough for me feeling this way.” Weeks later she onboarded her dream client, about $24,000 a year, in the IT space she wanted, beating the local CPA firm for the second time. Then a client from her favorite TV show. - 2
She built more than one way for clients to find her
An agency profile that brought “two clients… about $11,000 in revenue” in its first weeks. Referrals that finally started flowing after she fixed a lawyer’s trust-account reconciliation. Then a hire: “I ended up hiring a lead generation specialist finally, because I want to have multiple pillars of lead generation.” - 3
She started paying herself like an owner
“I am finally paying myself a salary and my salary is now higher than my corporate job was. But on top of that, I’ve also started paying a salary to my mother.” Same review, next sentence: “Construction on my new home has started officially.” And she set boundaries the firm respected: “I haven’t worked after five… and I stopped working on the weekend, which does great things for me, emotionally, mentally, physically.”
The Result
The wins stacked. “Besides closing $65,000 in the past month, I woke up to two more contracts this morning.” Then: “Overall, it was like $105,000 between the two contracts. And I have like a smaller one for about $36,000 a year… I managed to go on two vacations in February.” Then: “I added 93,000 in annual income in the past few weeks.”
The $100K Club has one bar: add $100,000 or more in cash collected from one twelve-month period to the next. Yulia’s award verification reads: “Added $100,000 in 12 months.” She was photographed with the $100K Club card at the Dream Firms mastermind in Lyon, France.
“I’m doing my thing, but I’m also kind of living my life. And I’m realizing that I’m living my life and everything’s fine.”

The Why Behind The Win
What Made the Difference
Fire the Client Who Costs You Your Life
The biggest client was the biggest problem. Letting him go freed the hours, the energy, and the standards that attracted a $24,000 dream client weeks later.
Multiple Pillars of Lead Generation
One channel is a hope. Several are a system. An agency profile, referrals from well-served clients, and a dedicated lead-generation hire meant prospects were “throwing themselves at me.”
Pay Yourself Like an Owner
A real salary, higher than corporate ever paid. A salary for her mother. No work after five, none on weekends. The firm learned to run on her terms, and grew anyway.
Your clients. Your hours. Your salary. Let’s redesign all three.
The Program Behind The Result
The Create Your Dream Firm Program
Dream Firms is the only CPA firm growth program built specifically around expert positioning, niche content, and high-value client acquisition. Yulia’s result isn’t an outlier. It’s the system working exactly as designed.
